
Kaylin Maggard
she/her/hers

Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Kaylin Maggard began dancing at the age of three. With extensive training in ballet and contemporary styles, she has traveled and participated in many intensives. Some of these include Body Traffic’s Spring Fling Countertechnique Intensive, Orsolina28, Cedar Lake 180, The Juilliard School Summer Dance Intensive, Pacific Northwest Ballet Summer Intensive, American Ballet Theatre, NYCDA Winter Dance Intensive, and Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Camp. Kaylin is a 2017 YoungArts Winner in Modern Dance and a 2017 Presidential Scholar in the Arts Semi-Finalist. Well-versed in both traditional and contemporary modern styles, she has performed the works by notable choreographers such as José Limón, Paul Taylor, and Bill T Jones. In her time at Juilliard, Kaylin has also premiered new work by Matthew Neenan, Andrea Miller, Nelly Van Bommel, and Bryan Arias. Most recently, Kaylin traveled to the University of Louisiana as a guest instructor and completed a one-week residency with the dancers of the program. Kaylin began her training at Columbia Performing Arts Centre and now has experience teaching, choreographing, and rehearsal directing. In her final semester at Juilliard, Kaylin is excited for what is next in her professional dance career.
