
Maddie Medina
she/her/hers

Originally from Houston, Texas, Maddie Medina trained at various places, including Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the Vitacca School for Dance, before attending The Juilliard School. At Juilliard, she has had the privilege of performing new works by Bryan Arias and Nelly Van Bommel. She has also performed repertoire by Bill T. Jones in the work titled D-Man in the Waters and has learned Trisha Brown’s famous work Set/Reset. Before Juilliard, Maddie trained with principles from the Royal Ballet and Houston Ballet throughout high school. In 2016, Maddie trained at ABT over the summer with Julie Kent and trained at Tulsa Ballet with Beatrice Sebelin. In 2020, Maddie debuted a self-choreographed solo titled Fear at a Juilliard student workshop performance. In January 2021, Maddie worked with Brett Ishida in her new, untitled work. There, she had the pleasure to work with dancers from USC and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
