Todd Baker, born and raised in Dallas, Texas, discovered his passion for dance at the age of ten. Todd began his classical and modern dance training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He continued to develop his artistry at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center. While attending The Juilliard School, Todd has performed Martha Graham’s Rite of Spring and new creations by Bryan Arias and Andrea Miller. Over the summers, he was able to perform works created by Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, and Hofesh Shechter. Todd was named a 2017 Presidential Scholar in the Arts, a 2016 YoungArts Finalist in Modern Dance, and a 2016 Texas Young Master in Dance. Upon graduating, Todd plans to dance professionally and hopes to share his knowledge of dance and performance with aspiring artists.
